What was I thinking....

Ok, I am new to this whole blog thing and not very good at it. I still haven't uploaded the pictures of my last 2 creations and I haven't even been on here in a while. Why??? I can't find the time. Between bottles, diapers and trying to figure out what my next creation will be, not to mention my sick addiction to Facebook, I haven't done it. I want to promise to do better, but I am sure that would be a broken promise. I will say this....I found something else to occupy my time....I want to be part of the Ironcupcake challange for December. The ingredient is CHOCOALTE, with a twist!!!! My very favorite thing in the world, next to sushi and cupcakes of course. I have an idea of what I want to do. I thought it was very creative of me. When I looked at last months Cranberry cupcakes, I found that I am not as origianly as I had thought but I am still going with it. I might do 2 but lets not get carried away. This weekend I have 2 reunions to attend and I am planning my son's 2nd birthday for next weekend. The fun never ends when you are sweet!!!!

Cookie weekend

The cakepops are done. I just need to get the pictures on here. They were ok but I have some practicing to do!! I have a cookie order for this weekend so I will be making pink daisies tonight. I promise, the pictures will be on the way. Off to bake I go......

Here I go...

After a week of feeling sick I am ready to give the cake pops a try. Going to mix up the red velvet now. I got green and red chocolate to get into the Christmas mood. I will take pictures and share later on. Wish me luck!!!

Here are the fondant cookies used as a centerpiece with mini fondant cookies decorating the table. The cake for this shower was also covered in fondant and you will see the pictures below.

The begining

So...I was looking for something, can't even remember what at this point, when I came across Bakerella's blog. Then my life changed!!! She inspired me! I loved her cake pops and cupcake pops. I have been baking cakes and cupcakes for a long time but these are adorable!!! I wanted to make them right away but of course, the kids brought me a nice little cold home from day care so I haven't had a chance. I will be making them this weekend, I hope, and will post pictures right away.
